almost here

school is almost here!!!!!!! i am excited but really nervous at the same time!!! i go to get my scheldule today and i am really really nervous about that. i am sooo worried that i wont have any classes with my friends!!!!!!!! but i guess i will just have to wait and see............ i have all my supplies all ready i am just not mentally prepared i guess....... well i will tell you more about it cuz i have to go now..........

well that was our final tournament of the season......... :-( i am sooooo sad. the beggining of the tournament didnt start out great, we werent playing to our full potential, and we werent hitting very well. it was ugly!!!!!!! but the next day it was lose 2 and done....... forever, and we did not want our season to end like that. so when we came back friday we went in with some attitude. in our first illimination game we looked like we really wanted to play..... the game was tied until there was a girl on 2nd and no outs and i bunted to the 3rd basemen and she over threw and the run scored. i felt so good for starting out the team in our rally. by the end of the 5th inning we were winning 3 to 0. but then we had one inning and they scored 3 runs and we went to the tiebreaker and they scored on a error. but even though we lost we were proud of ourself for playing really well.

we won our next game so we were still in. the next game was really suspenseful because it was the last inning and the score was 8 to 2. it was not that we played bad it was just that they were a good hitting team. but boy in that last game we had them scared...... we just kept hitting the ball and they had no idea what to do. even though we played good we came back and lost 6 to 8. and that was the end of our season. our captain, Jordo, who is going to be leaving and moving to 16 and under was crying and all of the moms were crying. i will miss them soo much.... even though i was still just there little 12 year old baby i will miss them and i hope they miss me too.

and now i have tryouts today, tuesday,and thursday. oh and in between is my birthday. ( wednsday) and i will be 13!!!!!!!!! i wish maddie, jordo,and BK the best of luck into the world of 16 and under. :-)

Crazy!!!!!

my life is soooo hectic right now!!!!! i have soooo many things about to come and things to get ready for. we just got done with the world series and that was a blast!!!!! at worlds of fun some of my teamates won a karaoke contest, they sang i will survive and it was sooo much fun cheering them on. it was the first time i had been to worlds of fun in a long time!!!!!!!!!!

the next and final tournament with all of my teamates is nationals. it is sooo sad cuz 3 of our girls have to move to 16 and under after this tournament and i will miss them even though i am still just a little 12 year old. :-)

and speaking of that i am not going to be 12 for very much longer, i will be 13 in about 3 weeks. August 5th. i am going to be a teenager!!!!!!!!!!!! and a 7th grader!!!!!!!!! not looking foward to that part though. :-)

school will be starting soon but i dont really want that to speed up................... nothing more to say about that..............

and some news about my legs is that apperently i have irritated nerves. we all make jokes about how i get on my own nerves and how i need to stop making them mad........... :-) i thought that it was my hamstring that was bothering me so i was streching alot but it was my nerves and they HATE it when you strech the hamstring so i was like making them worse all along. oops....

World Series and Other News

well tomorrow is another big tournament, the World Series!!!!!!!!!! i am so excited!!!!!! even though my leg hurts like crazy and the therapist is making me do these sometimes painful exercises i am still glad to be playing in this tournament. though we are playing on Thursday( tomorrow ) the opening ceremony for the tournament is on Friday.....???? weird but i don't really care cuz the ceremony is at Worlds Of Fun!!!!!!!

well some news about my mom is that she took a test about a month ago, to see about a job at a school and she soo worried about it cuz she was supposed to get her results back by now and hasn't. i keep telling her that she did fine and she should stop worrying.

well summer is flying by!!!!!!! i start school again on August 18th........... which is wayyyyyy to soon!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

I'm back

well i am back from Colorado!!!!!!! well i can say that we had a great time. ha ha. white water rafting was sooo fun!!!! i didn't fall out which is good, actually we only had one person fall out the whole trip. :-) about our playing, i will just say the teams there were like the best teams all over the U.S. our first team that we played was called the batbusters and first of all had like 20 players on their team and we had 10.( 9 spots on the field) and they were from California and they were amazing!!!!!!!!! they flew in a pitcher from Florida for the tournament and Jennie finch used to be on that team. it is like 5000 dollars just to play on that team a year. they beat us 12-0.

but we won one game. that's good. ha ha. we got 43 out of 76 teams or something.

oh and yea i think we beat the record for most injured players on a team. i have a hamstring injury. our other pitcher has a back problem, and the other has a shoulder problem. our centerfeilder hurt her neck or something, and our shortstop has like leg and hip injuries. oh and our catcher got hit by a girl on the other team's bat and now her hand is blue.

but i had alot of fun which is the important thing... :-)

off to colorado

this week i am off to Colorado for a softball tournament!!! this is also going to be my vacation so i am going to have to make it last. this is the farthest i have ever gone for a tournament and i am really excited!!! after our first day of playing( Tuesday) we are going white water rafting. that is going to be so much fun!!!!! we went white water rafting last year but we had to go on the slow ones but this year we are going on the more exciting ones, i hope i don't fall out cuz the water is FREEZING!!!! all of my softball friends are like counting down the days until we go, that's how excited we are!!!!!!

heartland showcase

the heartland showcase was the name of the tournament that i just played in this weekend. there were only 5 teams so the worst we could have gotten was 5th place, but we got better...... we got 2nd place. we lost by 1 run in the championship game. it was soooo close. we were down by 1 in the last inning and then we had a runner at 3rd and i was up to bat. the catcher had an over throw that went over the 3rd baseman's head and the girl at 3rd just stood on the base when our coach was telling her to go home. but then it was to late to go so she was stuck at third base. i was soooo pressured cuz i thought it was the last inning and i just hit a ground ball right to third base and she got me out at first. but the umpire said there was another inning we could play and then the other team got 2 more runs and we were now down by 3 runs. we were home team so we got to hit again...... and we actually got 2 more runs and we were only down by 1 again. it would have been tied if the umpire wouldn't have made a terrible call that lost us that tieing run. we were sooo disappointed that we lost. and the other team did not really deserve to win because when our pitcher was trying to pitch they were banging on the fence screaming AHHHHHHH trying to distract our pitcher........... and they were making fun of us and one girl gave my teammate a nasty look when we were saying good game....... but i guess there is still nationals and the Colorado tournament.... i will keep you updated.

Results

well about that tournament...... we didnt win but we played really good. our coach was really happy with us which is a good thing that doesnt happen a lot. :-)

i am really happy how we played too. and we have a tournament this weekend i plan to win....... well i will keep you updated.................. :-)

new tournament

yay!!!! i am so happy. i am in a tournament right now and i am so excited!!!!! it is really intense!!! we might possibly win this tournament.......
on friday night we played a team that was very good and lost big time...... but we really should have gotten closer to winning then we did. then on saturday we played 2 games in the morning( mid day) and won both of them!!!!! we played really good, but then since we were winning we played the other team that had won a lot too, and yeah it was the team we played friday night....

we started off really great... and only let like 2 runs to score, and then we got 2 runs too!!! by the end of the game the score was 3 to 5 and we were only down by 2 runs..... we had girls on 2nd base and 3rd with 2 outs........... and our batter had 2 strikes and she swung and missed the last pitch, and we lost by 2 runs......... it was sad but we did play really well so we were happy.

today we play the teams we beat yesterday and then we go to the championship and then i am pretty sure we are gonna play the team that beat us, and this time we are gonna beat them and win!!!!!!!! i really hope!!!!!!!!! so wish me luck, we play today at 3:30. i am soo excited...... i will post later on what the outcome was.

summer!!!!!!

i can not believe i am done with 6th grade!!!!!!!!!!!! i am sooooo happy. but the bad thing is that means that i am getting closer to 7th grade!!!!!!!!!!!! i hope it isn't as bad as our counselor said it was going to be. there are so many things i can do next year for my school. i am excited but scared too. 6th grade was so fun and i pretty much liked all my teachers.

summer also means more softball!!!!!!!! yeah!!!!! sorta.....well more fun tournaments!!!!! i love softball but sometimes the heat gets to me, so i am not gonna like that part.( playing out in the heat all day) but winning and playing the game i love is worth it.....

i got to go......i am cleaning my room. i will keep you posted on softball and all the cool stuff i will be doing this summer.....just kidding........

4 1/2 days left

oh my gosh. only 4 and a half days of school left!!!!!!! i am so excited!!!!!!!!! i am all done with my finals and the only one i am worried about is science, it was hard. i didn't get a lot of it but it was all multiple choice so i gave an educated guess.

i have a memorial day tournament this weekend. and we play Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and also a minim of 7 games!!!!!!!!!! wow i am going to be so sore. and i already am because i have 3 bruises, and a big scratch on my leg. i got one of the bruises on a bad throw, then a pitcher hit me right in the butt, and i got a bad hop right in the face.... what a week.

Finals

i am really scared....... the 6th grade is having our finals next week. we were studying today in science and i didn't remember like anything. i have never tanked a test before but this one is hard and i am especially bad in science. good thing it is all multiple choice, but i am still scared. it is getting to be the end of the year they should be getting easier on us not harder. oh well.

first real tournament

hey guess what???? we actually had a full tournament for the first time!!!!!!!!!! it was really fun for everyone. we didn't do so good but it was still fun to get to play. we should have been able to beat alot of those teams but we just didn't have enough heart to do so. by the last game we were through with losing and we put all of our heart into it and won. and boy it was fun to win again.

we now play double-headers on Thursdays. yeah i don't know how fun that will be but at least we will get to play. we can beat any team( in our league) if we just put our hearts in it.

well i guess that's all.......actually other exciting news, we get out of school in like 3 weeks, May 29th. i am so excited.

other stuff

no big suprise here but our tournament got cancelled this weekend. not because of the rain but there werent enought teams. i am wondering if we are ever gonna play. but we have another tournament this weekend and hopefully it doesnt get rained out.

our whole organization did a thing last night called exceptionals where we go and help the disabled play t-ball. it is really fun helping those kids and we do it every year. :-)

i am rereading the twilight series again, and i am on the 3rd book. they are just too good.

well i guess i could talk about my brother...........well he is getting ready to go to middle school next year and i think he is excited. i dont know why because middle school is not as good as elementry was. after M.A.P. we got nothing special, no party, no movie day, and they are so much harder on you, and also there is advanced math which i think sam will get into and that is super hard. you have homework every night.

Stuff

and yet another cancelled tournament........ it was raining earlier this morning so all the games got cancelled for today, and right after that the sun came up.... and it is still up right now......but on the bright side it is a very beautiful day....... i wish it could be like this all the time, 73, sunny, and just a little breeze. ahhh

M.A.P. is done!!!!!!!! i am so happy!!!!!!!! it was really easy, as always.( mostly) and the teachers went easy and didnt give us homework all those two weeks. but unfortunaly monday we go back to normal, homework and all. i am just glad it is over that means i am getting closer to 7th grade..... i cant wait. well i can wait as long as i can for pre algrebra next year.


and other good news is i finished the Twilight series today!!!!!!!!! i just started on the books like 2 weeks and now i am finished with all 4 books!!!!!! they were so good. my favorite was the last one,Breaking Dawn, and the first one, Twilight. i encourage people to read them. the author does a fantastic job of describing everything about something or someone..... ah they are to good.

Happy Easter everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone had an awesome Easter. I spent it stuck in a car driving home from Iowa. I would have liked it to be a little more sunny and warm but you get what you get. And Mrs. Tompkins i am so excited for your little new member of the family, i have always wanted one of my sons or daughters to have their birthday on a holiday. i hope everything goes good for you all.


I start the math M.A.P. tomorrow. I really hope it isn't that hard but i wont know til tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Finally

well........ finally we played in a tournament. It was alot of fun too, besides all the wind..... i got a wind/sun burn. The wind was blowing so hard. We did pretty good to, especially since we had only been outside like 3 times before. We lost our first game by one run but we played awesome. It was just the first inning, after that everything was good. But we won the second game. It was so much fun!!!!!!!! The pitcher threw very slow so it was a little hard to hit, but we got over it and won......... by a lot. Then came the last game....... that team was good!!!!!!!!! their pitcher threw like 1o mph faster then the one before but it was still pretty easy to hit. we were used to that pitching more than the last one........ but we still didn't win........ sad......... and of course right after we left it started raining, so the next day it was cancelled. so it was only like half a tournament....... we will get them next time.


P.S. we just started M.A.P. testing today....... and it was really easy....... wish me luck.......

Nothing New

i just thought i would tell you that my tournament was cancelled and it snowed like all day yesterday. so all i did was read. i am reading Twilight. i got the book yesterday and now i am 3/4 the way done with it. i cant stop reading it. it is so good.i encourage anyone to read it!!!!! since that tournament was cancelled i don't know when the next one is but i hope it is sometime that is really warm. i will post as soon as i know. until next time.....................

sorry i haven't blogged alot. nothing really happens in my life. i just decided to do this post to let you know i am not dead, i am still here i just don't know what to talk about. i am supposed to have a tournament this weekend but it is supposed to snow also so i don't think that will be happening. i wanted to tell you about it too but now i cant. :-(

M.A.P. is coming up too. but it's not really that interesting. lets see, well i have a concert tonight for my school. but again nothing really interesting, we just sing................................umm well the weather here has been really crummy. first last week it was really nice and this week it is sooo not nice. i really cant wait til summer.

Well if i think of anything else i will tell you or if it miraculously doesn't snow this weekend and i play i will tell you too. for now...... bye!!!!!!!!!

that picture was of Ashley tisdale, as you already know. i dont know why i decided to do this but i did. she is really nice and really pretty!!!!!!!! there are alot of good things about Ashley Tisdale but one of the best is that she is a good person. she hasnt done anything really wrong and she doesnt seem like some of those brats who think they are all that. she is really funny too!!!!she has the funniest laugh and the cutest dog ever!!!!! keep being an awesome person Ashley.

Softball news!!!!!!!!!!

Softball has started since....... well we never really stopped, but our first tournament is in a week and i am sooo excited!!!!!!!!!( even though i am also scared) i really hope it is going to be warm because if it is not then we are out of luck. we have been praacticing really long and hard so i think we should do pretty good. if nothing else we will be great at running. we have had alot of practicing in that depeatment. lol. people owe us credit because they think softball is just an easy sport, and it's sooo far from that. most teams practice at least 2 times a week if not more, you run ALOT, give up some of the things you love to do with your friends, and on top of all that you are playing( most of the time) in the hot sun!!! wish us luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spring Break

Spring break??????? more like winter break. it was so cold here. while all my friends are in Texas or California I am stuck here doing nothing!!!!!! and the sad thing is this week it is going to be really warm and now we are back in school!!!!!!ugh i am mad. over spring break i pretty much did nothing except go shopping on Thursday. i mean what else was there to do since it was so cold and rainy and dry. it wasn't even sunny either!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i will get over it sooner or later. probably later. so i guess other than me arguing and complaining about spring break there is nothing else to say about that subject. i should get going anyway.


just a hint: i will probably be posting stuff about softball really soon. our first tournament is next weekend.

My first Blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey everyone, this is my first blog ever!!!!!!!! i am so excited. my mom said that i should write a blog and since i don't have anything else to do other than softball i did it. in this blog i will tell about school, softball, and whatever else might happen. if i can figure out how to add pictures i certainly will. if this blog gets boring than please tell me and suggest things to talk about because i run out of ideas all the time.

Now i will tell you some stuff about me. not too much, just to be safe. :-) i live in Missouri and i love playing softball!!!!!!!! i have 2 siblings and a dog. you will probably see pictures of her on here. other than that i am just an ordinary person. Got to go
